   Tiffany Chandler is a rising senior at Paramus Catholic High School, Paramus, New Jersey.  She is seventeen years old, intelligent, compassionate and extremely talented.  During her years at Paramus Catholic, she has maintained Honor Roll status. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Society of High School Scholars.  While maintaining a 3.5 GPA throughout her High School career as an Aquinas Scholar, Tiffany also served others.  As a proud  recipient of the President of the United States Gold Award for Service as a junior volunteer at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ, she strives to be of service, also receiving the 100 Club Award for service from Paramus Catholic High School.  As a very active member at her church, Tiffany serves on two liturgical dance groups, where she not only dances but is also a choreographer.   She also volunteers when providing meals at the Bergen County Homeless Shelter in New Jersey.  For the last seven years Tiffany has volunteered with “Arise and Walk Ministries Foundation” Annual Benefit Event, an organization that provides medical and financial support to ministries and organizations that provide medical aid to developing countries.


     Her leadership abilities have earned her positions on several youth organizations.  Tiffany was Vice President of the Multicultural Committee at Paramus Catholic High School for the 2011-2012  school year, and currently holds the title of President for the 2012-2013 school year.  Tiffany has been a member on the high school volleyball and tennis teams.  She is also a part of the school’s Ambassadors organization.


    Tiffany has studied classical piano at the Harlem School of the Arts in New York City for eleven years.  She has also danced with community and school based dance groups and has been a featured dancer for the past 7 years.  She is admired and serves as a constant inspiration to the younger girls in the dance companies. She has acted in several short films.  They are “Power To Learn,” a cablevision commercial, “Say It Loud‚” a youth film that explores the importance of education for African-American boys, “Payin’ The Price‚” a film about teen dating violence, and “Project Impact‚” a series of short films on anti-bullying.  She is also a published poet in  “A Celebration of Young Poets, New Jersey Fall 2004.”


    Tiffany is the proud recipient of the UCLA LEAP Leadership Conference Scholarship 2012.  Tiffany earned first place award for the dance competition at the 2012 Xinos/Kudos Leadership Conference, and was selected as a Junior Scholar for The Jessie Banks Foundation for the 2012-2013 academic year.  She also has received certificates of commendation upon completion of the Hackensack Youth Police and Fire Department Youth Academy.  She received the Certificate of Completion from Fairleigh Dickinson University  Technical Enrichment and outreach Program (TEOP) sponsored by Gilbert Haase School of Computer Sciences and Engineering.


    During the summer 2012, Tiffany interned at “The Law Offices of Regina Darby” in New York City.  There is no limit to what Tiffany is capable of accomplishing, her drive and tenacity propels her for success.
